Forward your Uber receipts to FareFare

The forward-by-email import works with any inbox — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Apple Mail — and never asks for access to your account. You choose exactly which emails to send. For your security, manual forwards are only accepted from the email address you sign in to FareFare with; auto-forward rules always work, since they keep Uber as the sender. Here's the setup, from one-off forwards to a rule that does it forever.

1. Get your private address

Open the FareFare dashboard, sign in, and choose Forward receipts on the import screen. You'll get a personal address like u-a8f3k2@in.farefare.app. It's unguessable and belongs only to you — after importing, you can always find it again in the ✉ Forward receipts chip at the top of your dashboard, or in the account menu.

2. Forward receipts manually (works everywhere)

Open any Uber receipt email, hit Forward, paste your address, send. That's it — the trip appears the next time you open FareFare, or instantly when you press Check for new receipts. Forward as many as you like; duplicates are removed automatically.

3. Or set up a Gmail rule that forwards new receipts automatically

  1. In Gmail on the web, open Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP and click Add a forwarding address. Paste your FareFare address.
  2. Gmail emails a confirmation to that address — so it lands in FareFare. Open your dashboard, hit Check for new receipts (in the ✉ chip), and the confirmation link appears. Click it.
  3. Back in Gmail, search from:uber.com, click the search-options slider, then Create filter. Choose "Forward it to" and pick your FareFare address.
  4. Done. Every new Uber receipt now forwards itself; your dashboard updates whenever you open it.

Note: Gmail filters only forward future emails. For your existing history, use the file upload route once — it's instant and unlimited — and let the rule keep you current from then on.

Outlook / other providers

Outlook.com: Settings → Mail → Rules → Add new rule — condition "From: uber.com", action "Forward to" your FareFare address. Most providers (Yahoo, iCloud, Proton) have an equivalent filter-and-forward rule; some ask you to verify the forwarding address first, and that confirmation email also shows up via Check for new receipts.

What happens to a forwarded email

Forwarded messages pass through FareFare's relay, where our servers store only a pointer — never the content. When you open the app, your browser collects the pending messages, parses them on your device like every other import, and the relay copies are cleared. Details in our privacy policy. You can regenerate your address anytime; the old one stops working immediately.

One rule now, every trip tracked forever.

Get your private address, set the filter once, and your dashboard stays current by itself.
